Hi, I'm Kaoru, a nationally certified professional tour guide. Please call me Rue, like the baby kangaroo Roo in "Winnie-the-Pooh." I’m easy-going and love making my guests feel relaxed and happy during the tour, often by sharing light jokes and creating a fun atmosphere. My goal is to create a tour that feels personal to you, giving you memories you’ll treasure. Whether you’re interested in history or just want to enjoy a laid-back journey, I’m flexible and can adapt the plan to suit your needs. I graduated from the University of Oregon U.S., so I’m confident in English and enjoy guiding international guests. I specialize in Hiroshima and am passionate about sharing its rich history, especially regarding the atomic bombing. I’m always open to answering questions and having thoughtful conversations. I’ve visited most of Japan’s major tourist spots, so I’m happy to share my insights and recommend ideas for your next trip. Additionally, I’ve traveled to 15 countries, which has deepened my understanding of different cultures and helps me connect with guests from around the world.
